Air New Zealand marketing head joins from Bmi
Kathryn Gregory has joined Air New Zealand from Bmi as the airline’s new marketing manager, Europe, based in London.
She takes over from Christie Lord who left the carrier last November.
Gregory spent 15 years working with Bmi in sales, revenue and marketing positions and was most recently head of advertising, responsible for all the airline’s consumer campaigns within the UK and Ireland.
She will head a team of three with responsibility for direct marketing, consumer advertising, trade communications and e-commerce marketing for the UK and Continental Europe.
She joins after ANZ doubled capacity from the UK with the launch of a second daily service to Auckland via Hong Kong in October, making it the only carrier offering round the world flights out of the UK on the same airline. (See linked story).
