Air Vanuatu board crisis
Air Vanuata has announced a new service between New Caledonia, Tanna and Port-Vila next month. This route was agreed by the shareholders.
However at board level, things are not quite as settled with members agreeing to sign an official complaint against the Chairman, claiming they are not being allowed to speak their minds on important issues.
In addition, the Chairman’s recently agreed salary increase is under question, with the Finance Minister claiming he will review the decision with other shareholders.
