AirAsia launches ride-hailing in Thailand
Budget airline group AirAsia has launched ride-hailing service in Bangkok. AirAsia Ride officially started this week with 3,000 drivers registered in the Thai capital.
AiRAsia is also eyeing expansion into tourist centres like Phuket and Chiang Mai where it flies to. The main competition in Thailand comes from Grab and Bolt.
The Southeast Asia ride-hailing and food delivery market is expected to triple to US$42 billion by 2025.
