Airline adds seats to cope with rugby demand
Flybe has added almost 1,000 extra seats to Paris to cope with demand from fans wanting to support England in the Rugby World Cup Final on Saturday.
The airline put the additional seats on sale from regional points to the French capital yesterday (Monday) via its website.
Additional capacity will be provided from Birmingham, Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester and Southampton.
But Flybe warned that seats were selling fast due to “overwhelming demand” from supporters wanting to be in Paris for the match with South Africa.
Chief commercial officer Mike Rutter said: “Flybe is showing its support of the English rugby champions by pulling out all the stops to increase services to Paris Charles de Gaulle.”
