Airlines cancel hundreds of bank holiday flights
About 900 Bank Holiday weekend flights have been cut from schedules in recent weeks.
It equates to an overall 21% decline in Bank Holiday flight capacity compared to 2019, according to the aviation analytics firm Cirium.
Cirium data shows 900 flights have been scrubbed since July 1 for the f Bank Holiday weekend between Aug 26-30.
On July 1 there were 14,030 flights planned, which has now been slashed to about 13,130 flights.
BA has cut the most at nearly 380, while Flybe removed over 130 flights.
