AirPlus UK chief in move to US
AirPlus International’s UK-based managing director Spencer Hanlon is to head the company in the US.
He is to become CEO of the global travel payment provider’s US operations in place of existing US boss Richard Crum who has been appointed president of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives
Crum will remain president of AirPlus International Inc and its US spokesperson, while Hanlon will oversee day-to-day sales operations.
A UK successor for Hanlon has yet to be announced.
He said: “We have built up a very successful operation in the UK, some of that success we hope to recreate in the US.
“In the UK things are looking very bright for us – we have gained a number of important clients and have had double figure growth year on year.
“My successor will be inheriting a fantastic team and a very strong product proposition.”
