Airy Rooms ceasing operations
Budget hotel aggregator Airy Rooms has become the latest Covid-19 casualty.
The Indonesia based company will cease operations by the end of this month according to an email sent out to hotel partners.
"We have done our best to overcome the impact of this disaster, however, given the significant technical decline and reduction in human resources, we have decided to stop our operations permanently," the email said.
From June Airy will no longer support its partner hotels with services.
Airy laid off more than two-thirds of its workforce last month.
Airy was established in 2015 and had over 2,000 hotel partners.
It is a strategic partner of Indonesia’s dominant OTA Traveloka.
