AITO membership tops 150
Tailormade special interest group tour operator Heritage Group Travel has joined the Association of Independent Tour Operators.
The addition of Heritage brings the total number of AITO members to 151.
Heritage Group Travel runs European cultural trips as well as itineraries to China, the US, Jordan and Syria. Clients are typically cultural institutions, associations and societies whose members have an interest in heritage tourism, with groups ranging from 15 upwards.
Director John Iles said: “As a long-standing independent tour operator it was a natural decision for us to join AITO. The association’s aims match ours – specialist tours with the emphasis on individual customer service and a passion for the destinations and tour themes which we promote.”
