Alaska Airlines and Sabre partner for ancillary upgrade

Wednesday, 07 Jan, 2015 0

Alaska Airlines’ ancillary products and services will be made available to travel agents after the carrier agreed a deal with Sabre.

Some of Alaska’s interline airline partners will also be able to market and sell their ancillaries through Alaska’s sales channels as part of the deal which will go live in late-2015.

"Alaska has led the industry by pioneering new and innovative technologies so we are thrilled to continue supporting their technology needs," Hugh Jones, president of Sabre Airline Solutions.

Sabre is a long time technology provider for Alaska, operating its reservations system.

"Our top priority is to provide our customers with options so travelers can purchase the optional products and services they value most and Sabre has been an important partner in helping achieve this goal," said Andrew Harrison, senior vice president, planning and revenue management at Alaska Airlines.
