Alaska Airlines boosts Starlux transpacific codeshare
Taiwan-based Starlux and Alaska Airlines are beefing up their existing codeshare partnership.
They are adding 12 new US cities to the codeshare flight network.
That brings the total of North American cities to 20 available for connecting codeshare journeys via direct transpacific flights to and from Taipei.
The new expanded codeshare flights are served by Alaska Airlines via San Francisco and Seattle-Tacoma which are Starlux west coast destinations from Taipei.
The newly added codeshare flights include Atlanta, Tampa, Anchorage, Orlando, Washington Dulles, Kansas City and Philadelphia from Seattle, and to Newark from San Francisco.
“The enhanced agreement offers US travelers streamlined booking, coordinated check-in, and smooth transfers through Alaska’s domestic network and STARLUX’s international gateways in San Francisco and Seattle,” the airlines said.
Starlux currently flies to 29 destinations across Asia and long haul to the US.
Starlux also has a separate codeshare arrangement with American Airlines.
