Alaska Airlines launching Nashville nonstop flights
Alaska Airlines is launching new nonstop flights to Nashville from its Seattle hub in September.
The daily schedule takes flight from September 23, leaving Seattle at 9:30 a.m. PST, and the return leg departing Nashville at 5:05 p.m. CST.
Nashville International Airport serves more than 50 destinations and has recently added several new routes including the Oakland/San Francisco Bay area and Atlantic City.
Year-round nonstop service to Seattle has been one of our top priorities, as part of a strategic effort to deliver nonstop service to major cities in the northwest US," said Rob Wigington, Nashville Airport Authority president.
At the same time, Alaska said it would also add direct flights to the Carolinas with services to Charleston and Raleigh-Durham.
"Our loyal customers tell us they want new and exciting nonstop destinations, and we are listening," said John Kirby, Alaska Airlines’ vice president of capacity planning in a statement.
