The Allbury Travel Group’s tour operating brands are to have their websites enhanced with the use of video.
Rich media content will be supplied to site such as www.libraholidays.co.uk, www.argoholidays.com, www.jetlife.co.uk, www.pricerightholidays.com and www.goldenjoydive.com.
E-brochure and video content supplier Trailstream is to provide the video content.
Allbury product & commercial director Steve Heapy said: “We are delighted to now feature video content on our websites and believe that this will enhance the customer experience resulting in an overall increase in conversion.
“We will be adding additional footage to our websites as the Trailstream inventory of videos continues to expand.”
Trailstream managing director Dave Howard said: “Our new agreement with Allbury underlines
the growing trend in website development for online travel agents and tour operators.
“Despite the tough economic climate, interest in our content is increasing and travel providers now recognise that they must engage the customer when they land on their site, to keep them browsing for longer and enhance their visit to encourage bookmarking of the site and support conversion to sales.
“The travel industry is extremely competitive and making a website stand out from the crowd is now necessary to gain market share.”
