Am Ex connects travelers with new Yahoo celeb “insider” program
American Express Travel has announced a new collection of exclusive itineraries inspired by celebrity ‘tastemakers."
"Insider Escapes presented by American Express Travel" is a new video series and editorial program produced in partnership with Yahoo! Travel.
Consumers get ‘insider’ tips and recommendations via video interviews with talking heads like Deepak Chopra, Jonathan Adler, Simon Doonan and Lisa Ling.
Each itinerary offers travelers a one-off, focused experience inspired by a style maven or tastemaker, whether it’s meditating at a 16th century temple in New Delhi or savoring the Southern flavors in the culinary markets of Charleston. Adventures available through "Insider Escapes," include:
— Health & Wellness – Deepak and Gotham Chopra’s New Delhi and Sedona
— Fashion & Style – Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan’s Tokyo and San Francisco
— Food & Wine – Tom Colicchio’s Singapore and Charleston
— Arts & Culture – Lisa Ling’s Santorini and Washington, DC
The tastemakers program runs until the beginning of September.
