Amadeus integrates Chinese startup Heycars’ transfers
Amadeus has added Chinese startup Heycars to its Transfers Platform.
It offers Amadeus connected agents the ability to book end-to-end travel in 83 countries, with its fleet of chauffeured vehicles.
Guangzhou-based Heycars serves more than 200 cities and airports with a variety of chauffeured vehicles, ranging from economy through to luxury.
It offers 24 hour customer support in Chinese, English, French and Japanese.
"Heycars facilitates the booking of chauffeur driven cars by the hour, ideal for foreigners who are unable to rent and drive in a country such as China," said Kai Zou, CEO and co-founder of Heycars.
The Chinese startup was established in 2015.
The integration allows for advance bookings, enabling customers to skip queues at airports and hotels.
"We are set on expanding the Amadeus Transfers Platform to encompass all content, meaning more choice and personalisation for travelers," said Peter Altmann, head of mobility and insurance at Amadeus.
