American Airlines adding European flights
American Airlines is adding new summer seasonal flights to Europe beginning next May.
American will launch service to Budapest and Prague from Philadelphia and also increase service to Venice from Chicago, starting May 4, 2018.
The airline will operate Boeing 767-300 aircraft on the Budapest and Prague routes through October 27, 2018.
"Summer travel to Europe is very popular. These flights will conveniently connect customers from two very important hubs – Chicago and Philadelphia – to exciting markets across the Atlantic," said Vasu Raja, American’s vice president of network and schedule planning.
American and its joint business partners will then serve 23 cities in Europe nonstop from the US with more than 130 daily departures.
This summer the carrier launched flights to Amsterdam and Rome from Dallas/Fort Worth and to Barcelona from Chicago.
Bookings for the new flights go live on August 21.
