American Airlines launches British Virgin Islands flights
American Airlines has launched new British Virgin Islands flights from its Miami hub.
The new daily flight to Tortola’s Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport expands its Caribbean network further, which comprises 40 destinations in the region this summer.
American is the only carrier offering British Virgin Islands flights from Miami.
“We are thrilled to continue giving our customers access to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches,” said Juan Carlos Liscano, Vice President of MIA Hub Operations.
“As Miami’s hometown airline, we are proud to continue strengthening our ties to the Caribbean.”
American’s Miami hub offers access to more than 300 peak daily departures to more than 140 destinations.
The airline also just resumed summer seasonal service from MIA to Asheville, NC.
Since last year, the airline also launched additional service to Cuba with more flying to Havana and resumed service to Santa Clara, Varadero, Holguín, Camagϋey, and Santiago.
