American Airlines will start offering nonstop flights to Costa Rica from Chicago this fall.
Minister of Tourism, Gustavo Segura confirmed American will operate two routes from November 2021 – three times weekly to San Jose and once a week to Guanacaste. It is a big move towards a tourism recovery in Costa Rica as the high season kicks in, said Segura.
He said Chicago is the fourth biggest market showing interest in travel to Costa Rica.
