American celebrates 100 years of flying
American Airlines has unveiled what’s planned this year as it celebrates 100 years in business.
It says passengers will soon start to see signs of its centennial celebrations starting with a special centennial livery on a Boeing 737 later in January.
This centennial logo will also be shown on American Airlines’ digital channels, including the main website, social media channels, on in-flight entertainment screens and special 2026 merchandise.
“American is proud to be among a small group of airlines that have celebrated 100 years of flight,” says Robert Isom, American’s CEO.
“There’s no brand in aviation more iconic. We’re poised to continue that legacy into the next 100 years for our customers and team members.”
The airline will celebrate a century of flight onboard throughout the year, with special inflight treats and dining offerings, as well as special edition amenity kits.
