Cheeky scouse veteran comedian Ken Dodd has had a plane named after him.
Eastern Airways unveiled the craft this week at Liverpool John Lennon airport.
The airline is celebrating its first anniversary at Liverpool since starting flights to Aberdeen and Southampton and says it named the plane after the Diddy Men creator because of all the laughter he has brought to people over the years.
The 29-seater Jetstream 41 is adorned with a caricature of Doddy on the fuselage by the entrance door along with his famous line: “How tickled I am”.
Said Doddy: “I’m feeling very plumptious about it.”
