ANA, JAL cancel dozens of Europe flights
Japan’s top two carriers have scrapped dozens of long-haul flights to Europe in the past few days. To avoid flying over Russia’s airspace All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines cancelled 32 flights to Europe up to March 5.
It affected passenger flights to Brussels, Paris and other cities, impacting about 1,150 passengers. Several cargo-only flights were also cancelled.
Both ANA and JAL said they will continue monitoring the situation and haven’t ruled out further cancellations.
