Andy Freeth bags non-exec role at Inspire My Holiday

Monday, 11 Aug, 2020 0

Former If Only chief executive Andy Freeth has joined travel marketing brand Inspire My Holiday as a non-executive director.

His role will be to offer strategic guidance and help raise awareness of the brand, launched in September 2019 by Olly Lomas.

The platform partners with several holiday companies including TUI, One&Only Resorts, JA Resorts, Value Added Travel & Aurora Expeditions.

Unique visitor numbers to the website are expected to exceed 530,000 over the next 12 months, during which time Inspire My is planning ‘numerous enhancements’ to the customer experience.

Olly said: "I have known Andy for many years, he brings a wealth of experience in business development and has a great energy. I know we will achieve fantastic results with his help and have some fun along the way. We are delivering cost effective traffic to many travel brands and our unique search function is proving so popular with consumers that we are already seeing a high number of repeat visitors."

Andy added: "Olly and the team have got a great business and I look forward to working with them to achieve their goals and continue to enhance the site. Olly’s passion, product knowledge and work ethic are exceptional and I’m confident that together we can deliver web traffic to many more travel partners at a very reasonable cost. I look forward to speaking to new partners on this project over the coming weeks."

Olly claimed Inspire My Holiday’s USP was its focus on destination and brand rather than price.

"Consumers on average visit 38 websites to research and book their trip, with 43% of them spending longer planning their trip than they do on actually on it," he added. "These are frightening statistics and we aim to help our customers reduce their research phase through a quick and structured search process.

"Amid the current crisis the Inspire My Holiday platform is coming into its own providing customers with personalised inspiration right in their homes, while delivering incremental business directly to our hotel and tour operator partners."
