Anna Guillan goes to Voyages
Voyages Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of Anna Guillan to the role of Executive General Manager Sales and Marketing, with Guillan joining Voyages from Mulpha Australia where, for the past two years, she has held the dual roles of Hayman Director of Sales & Marketing and Mulpha Hotels Director of Strategy – Sales & Marketing, with responsibility for Hayman, InterContinental Sydney, Hilton Melbourne Airport and Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove.
Guillan was appointed Director of Sales & Marketing for Hayman following its acquisition by the BT Hotel Group in 1999, having previously held the position of Director of Sales & Marketing for InterContinental Sydney.
Guillan plays an active role within the Australian travel industry as Vice-Chair of the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) and with involvement on Industry Advisory Panels including Tourism Australia. She is also a member of the Southern Cross University School of Tourism Advisory Board.
Voyages Chief Executive Officer, Chris Tallent, said: “Anna brings a wealth of sales and marketing experience and industry knowledge to Voyages and she enjoys a strong profile within the wider tourism community. We are delighted that we have been able to attract Anna into this critical role and know that she will add tremendous depth and leadership to the current strong sales and marketing team.”
Guillan replaces former Voyages Executive General Manager Sales and Marketing, Nick Baker, who left in July to take up the role of Executive General Manager Marketing at Tourism Australia.
Guillan will join Voyages in early 2008.
