Another Australian feared dead amid Mumbai terror attacks
The Herald Sun reports that a second Australian is feared dead and up to 26 remain trapped by terrorists as commandos storm Mumbai hotels this morning.
Foreign Affairs Minister Stephen Smith said today up to 26 Australians were believed to have been in the two hotels, as the death toll from the horrifying terror attacks reached 125 and is expected to rise.
The latest development comes as fears grow for another Australian feared dead in the attacks.
One Australian man, Brett Taylor, 49, was confirmed dead yesterday and today there are grave fears that another Australian could be among the estimated 125 people killed during the attacks.
“We are not in a position to confirm the (second) death but the information we have leaves us gravely concerned about the state of that Australian,” Mr Smith said.
