Aon retains Post Office travel insurance
Insurance broker Aon has signed a five year deal to continue managing the Post Office’s travel insurance scheme.
The selection of Aon followed a “rigorous†tender process.
A staff of 120 in Leicester handle and process travel insurance transactions from Post Office counters, online and through its call centre.
Aon is working with general insurer Fortis, which both underwrites the insurance policies and has claims handling expertise, which it has supplied to Post Office and Aon since June 2003.
Andrew Spice, head of financial services at the Post Office, said: “The new contract is set to deliver a range of new products and improved service standards that Post Office customers will benefit from.â€
