ARC buys equity stake in travel data firm
Expanding on the recently agreed commercial partnership with corporate travel data firm Traxo Inc, Airlines Reporting Corp has now made an equity investment in the Dallas-based company.
The investment will support Traxo’s continued growth and development of new products.
The deal gives ARC executive vice president and chief operating officer Lauri Reishus a seat on the Traxo board of directors.
"I look forward to working more closely with Traxo, as there are already a number of synergies between our two companies," said Reishus.
"We see Traxo as a strong investment because their solution fills a pressing need in the corporate travel space."
Traxo Founder and CEO Andres Fabris said: "ARC has insights into the entire travel ecosystem, which makes them a perfect fit as a Traxo investor and commercial partner."
Traxo provides travel data capture and itinerary intelligence solutions for its corporate client base enabling travel managers and TMCs to track total travel spend, rwhichever booking channels are used.
