ASEAN Tourism Forumn ATF 2010 blasted off 26-28 Jan’10 in the sULTANATE OF bRUNEI.
Meeting of the 10 nation Association of South East Asian Nantion Tourism Ministers saw Rebranding of the regional grouping with the launch of new wwebsite www.southeastasia.org with the tagline ‘feel the warmth’ reflecting the region’scommon features – friendliness of its peoples, cultural diversity and distinctly warm hospitality.
To create awareness, 2 online contests based on photography and deestination content will run ahead of its official launch at ITB Berlin in March with intial iargets in niche segments of youth, retirees and adventure – from 5 markets – UK, Germany, France, Australia and India as indicated by Ace project Director RJ Gurley.
This online marketing tool is a US$ 500,000.00 project by US Funded ASEAN Competitiveness Enhancement in collaboration with ASEAN Tourism Associiotion.
