Aussie soft adventure operator announces further acquisitions and new brochure.
Leading and longest standing Aussie luxury soft adventure operator, Australian Wilderness Tours has launched a stunning new brochure at ATE 2006, covering 2006, 2007 and 2008 and announced further acquisitions.
Ralph Clissold, Managing Director of AWT said, “We are thrilled to have our first full colour brochure in the market which incorporates recent acquisition, Odyssey Tours and Safaris operating from Darwin in the Top End and a more recent and very exciting acquisition, Native Guide Safaris in Cairns.”
He added, “ATE is a great place to launch that we now have an extremely comprehensive operation covering the whole of Australia and while we have offered tours around Australia for many years, acquiring these business takes us to the next level, being able to operate in some of Australia’s key destinations”.
Australian Wilderness Tours has over 27 years of knowledge and experience covering virtually some of Australia’s most breathtaking scenery, getting right off the beaten tourist track in an extensive range of locations, including the Blue Mountains, The Great Ocean Road, the Snowy Mountains and Fraser Island.
They operate over twenty programmes on a set departure date or private charter basis, offering departures from all major Australian cities and they also have an extensive Private Charter programmes.
Odyssey Tours and Safaris, now owned by AWT concentrates on the Top End and Red Centre of Australia, including the Kimberleys, Katherine, Kakadu National Park and Uluru and while they are based in Darwin they operate throughout this northern region of Australia, offering accommodation at their permanent camps in Litchfield and Kakadu National Parks or in motel and lodge accommodation.
