Australia closes early for Christmas!

Monday, 21 Dec, 2007 0

In the Mole Poll earlier this week, over 70% of respondents said Yes, they found that in business, Australia had already pretty well closed down for Christmas?

With the majority of votes cast by last Tuesday, that means that we were already shutting down a week before Christmas and with this coming week destined to be a “no business” week, Aussies are taking a good long holiday over Christmas and the New Year.

Traffic is Sydney has been very light, bus drivers are saying that buses are empty and tax drivers are saying that there is no business during the day!

It is also anticipated that many businesses will not get back into action until Monday 7 January at the earliest!

In the meantime, enjoy and have a great Christmas and New Year.
