Austria – new brochure hot off the press.
The Austrian National Tourism Office has released the 2007 edition of its excellent destination travel manual for 2007, “destination austria” and if you haven’t got one then you need to!
Produced annually, the 2007 “destination austria” includes 48 packed pages of information on everything from flights, accommodation, skiing, tours and even travel tips – you name it and you will find it in “destination austria”.
If you want a one-stop shop for travel to Austria an excellent hub for the whole of Europe and even though Austrian Airlines is pulling out of Australia as reported recently in TravelMole, codeshares with Thai through Bangkok mean there are more flights than ever to Vienna, then this is the book for you!
“destination austria” also includes listings of more than 100 Aussie and Kiwi operators offering Austrian product, whether it be that perfect skiing holiday, a cruise on the Danube, mountain walking or even that magical white Christmas.

Astrid Mulholland-Licht ANTO’s Director for Australia and New Zealand [Pictured recently at actb’07 in Vienna] told The Mole, “Never has Austria been more popular from down-under and these are brilliant results considering the distance!”
She added, “Mozart was huge for us in 2006 and in 2007 we are focussing on skiing and food and wine and have some great promotional plans in mind – so watch this space, because we will be launching our food and wine promotions at our major trade events around Australia and New Zealand in Oct with a chance to try some real Austrian food and products”.
She added, “We are too small a destination for classic advertising, so we have to be more innovative!”
“destination austria” has already been distributed to agents, but if you do not have a copy, please contact the ANTO on +61 2 9299 3621 or [email protected]
