Avis Budget Group announces exclusive partnership with JetBlue

Avis Budget Group has inked a deal to become the exclusive car rental partner of JetBlue and the airline’s TrueBlue loyalty rewards program.
 
Avis Budget brands Avis Car Rental, Budget Car Rental and Payless Car Rental will be promoted to JetBlue customers and TrueBlue loyalty members can earn 100 TrueBlue points per day when renting a vehicle for five days or less.
 
Members with Mosaic status will accrue 200 TrueBlue points per day on rentals.
 
"Our car rental brands appeal to the wide range of customers that JetBlue serves," said Stephen Wright, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Avis Budget Group.
 
In addition to the main JetBlue website, Avis and Budget rentals will be listed on the JetBlue Getaways website where customers can choose flights and car rental as a bundled vacation package.
 
To kick off the exclusive partnership, TrueBlue members will receive extra perks for Avis bookings through February 29, 2016, which include up to 35% discount, 600 bonus points and a complimentary upgrade.
