Avis Budget Group rolls out ‘Beep’ agent training platform
Avis Budget Group has rolled out a training and booking portal for Asia based travel trade professionals.
Called Beep, the platform is the place to get acquainted with the group’s brands, Avis Car Rental and Budget Car Rental, and offers a library of training modules, destination and driving guides and agent booking tools.
"Beep makes it easier for our trade partners to offer products and services from our two brands to their customers through a simpler and more efficient booking process," said Angeline Tang, regional director for leisure travel & partnerships, Asia.
"At the same time, they can receive commission when they make a booking through Beep."
It is launched initially in English and will be progressively extended to simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai languages.
It is loaded with Avis products from 5,500 locations in approximately 170 countries, and about 3,500 locations in the Budget Car Rental portfolio.
Bookings made through the platform are commissionable.
The group will roll out incentives and trade competitions as the platform is introduced across different markets in Asia.
Agents can sign up to Beep by registering at www.abgbeep.com/asia
