Avis UK boss quits
Avis UK managing director Michael White is to leave the company at the end of the year.
A successor to Mr White, who was in the MD role for three years, has yet to be announced.
Mr White, who has worked for the car rental firm for a total of 21 years, said: “I am constantly striving for new personal and professional challenges and believe now is the time to develop my career outside of Avis.”
Avis Europe chief executive Murray Hennessy said: “We are pleased that he will continue with us until the end of the year to ensure business continuity and an effective transition to his successor, who will be announced shortly.”
