Azamara appoints UK head of marketing
Azamara Club Cruises has appointed Sarah Fowler as head of marketing and PR for the UK.
She replaces Karen Sequeira, who has gone to Norwegian Cruise Line as marketing and PR director UK and Ireland, Middle East and Africa.
Fowler joins from Explore Worldwide, where she has been head of marketing since 2015.
Before that she was in a senior marketing position at Merlin Entertainments and spearheaded the launch of a new website and ecommerce platform, and devised an online pricing model that delivered a 30% year-on-year uplift in revenue.
In her new role, she will be based at the Azamara UK head office, part of Royal Caribbean Cruises, in Weybridge, Surrey, and will lead the marketing and PR efforts for the brand’s three ships.
