Tourists from around the world now have a new incentive to discover multiple Brazilian destinations in a single trip. Brazilian airline Azul has launched the “Azul Brazil Air Pass”, a product that allows travelers to combine different domestic flights within Brazil under a single fare.
Azul is Brazil’s largest airline by number of cities served and direct domestic routes, operating more than 800 daily flights to 137 destinations. With a fleet of approximately 200 aircraft, the carrier operates a network of over 230 direct domestic routes.
The initiative, developed through a partnership between Azul and Visit Brasil (the Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion – Embratur), aims to increase the flow of international tourists to the country and encourage travel across different Brazilian regions. The product is valid for travelers arriving in Brazil on Azul flights as well as on flights operated by other airlines, broadening access to the international market as a whole.
“We want to make it increasingly easier for international tourists to arrive in Brazil and allow these visitors to experience the diversity of destinations the country has to offer. The Azul Brazil Air Pass is a product designed for the entire market, regardless of the airline used to travel to Brazil. For those flying with Azul, there is also the advantage of more competitive fares, making the experience even more accessible, organised, and predictable”, said Anderson Serafim, Azul’s Commercial and International Expansion Manager.
According to Visit Brasil’s President Marcelo Freixo, the tool allows tourists from around the world to experience Brazil more deeply. “From the Pantanal to the Amazon, from the beaches of the Northeast to metropolises such as Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazil offers lush and authentic destinations, as well as a unique hospitality that only the Brazilian people provide. There is no place like Brazil, and all tourists are welcome to discover it in person. Visit Brasil works alongside Azul to increasingly delight international visitors with destinations and experiences from north to south of the country”, he said.
Product expands access for the international travel trade
The Azul Brazil Air Pass is also geared towards the international travel trade. The product enables a more streamlined and efficient ticketing process for travel agencies and tour operators abroad. It integrates formula for maximum stay options of 14, 20, or 30 days, depending on the fare selected and the number of destinations included in the itinerary.
Prices start at USD 479 for trips including up to four destinations and a stay of up to 14 days, and can reach USD 599 for itineraries with up to eight destinations and a stay of up to 30 days on flights operated by Azul. For options that combine segments operated by other airlines, fares range from USD 599 to USD 799, depending on the number of destinations and the maximum length of stay.
The Azul Brazil Air Pass is sold exclusively outside Brazil, mainly through international travel agencies, and can also be purchased through Azul’s international call centre.
The partnership between Azul and Embratur is part of Brazil’s international tourism promotion efforts and the expansion of visitor flows at a particularly significant moment for the sector. In 2025, Brazil recorded a historic record of foreign tourists: approximately 9.3 million international visitors, a 37% increase compared to 2024.
