BA boss knighted
Outgoing British Airways chief executive Rod Eddington has been knighted in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
Eddington is honoured for services to civil aviation. He is recognised for turning around the airline’s fortunes.
He is retiring at the end of September to be replaced by ex-Aer Lingus boss Willie Walsh.
Also honoured was Wales Tourist Board chairman Philip Evans, who is made a CBE.
