BA plans to resume full services by Friday
British Airways plans to revert back to a full schedule by Friday and will operator 90% of its schedule today.
Three long-haul and 32 short-haul departures have been cancelled from Heathrow.
The airline also plans to operate a full long-haul and European schedule
from London Gatwick but has cancelled 11 domestic flights.
Tomorrow, Thursday, BA plans to operate a complete longhaul schedule at Heathrow, with 19 short-haul departures cancelled. The airline will operate a full schedule at London Gatwick.
BA Connect is continuing to operate a full schedule.
Flights remain subject to some delays and customers are advised to check on
www.ba.com before travelling to the airport.
BA has been running a limited schedule since airport security was heightened last week. UK airports were put on ‘critical’ alert after Scotland Yard uncovered a plot to put bombs on flights from London to the US.
The alert has now been reduced to ‘severe’.
