BA set to restart Kuala Lumpur flights
British Airways will restart nonstop flights to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia next week.
The route resumes with daily Dreamliner flights from London Heathrow starting April 2 2025.
Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) made the announcement.
MAHB’s Senior General Manager of Strategy, Megat Ardian Wira Mohd Aminuddin, said: “We had a good discussion with the British Airways team. They are also very excited about this relaunch”.
BA and MAHB held discussions at the Routes Asia 2025 event in Perth, Australia.
British Airways hasn’t independently confirmed the launch date yet, although it previously said it expected to resume KL flights from April 1.
BA initially planned to relaunch flights to KLIA in late 2024 but pushed it back due to its well documented Dreamliner aircraft engine issues.
The route was originally halted in 2021 due to the pandemic.
