BA shares rise on oil price drop
There were mainly small, downward movements for travel and tourism shares yesterday as London’s main equity indices made small gains. The FTSE 100 index added just 1.9 points to end the day at 4733, while the broader-based FTSE 250 gained 21 points to close at 6810.9. The biggest move was at British Airways, which gained 3.75p to close at 224.75p after the price of crude oil eased.
