BA to launch new summer flights to the Balearics
British Airways is to launch new weekly summer-only flights to the Balearic Islands from Edinburgh and Dublin.
From May the airline will begin flying from Dublin to Ibiza and in June it will launch flights from Edinburgh to Palma, Majorca.
All flights will operate on Embraer 190 jet aircraft. Services from Dublin to Ibiza will operate on Fridays and Sundays, while Edinburgh will have one flight a week, on Fridays, to Majorca.
Luke Hayhoe, British Airways’ general manager customer and commercial, said: "Flights from Dublin are ideal for travellers looking for flexibility with options from a two-night stay to a longer holiday in Ibiza and from Edinburgh the flights are well timed for travellers looking for one or two week holidays in Majorca."
