Balearics updates ‘Stick with your Mates’ safety campaign
The Government of the Balearic Islands, in collaboration with the British embassy and consulate, launched of a new edition of the joint campaign to promote the Balearic Islands as a safe destination.
The campaign ‘Stick with your Mates’ encourages young British holidaymakers to take care of one another and help avoid serious accidents.
The campaign will be rolled out from 1 June to 31 August and will feature short videos and digital images that will be targeted at young people visiting the islands through Instagram and Facebook.
Since 2019, the Balearic Islands and the British embassy and consulate have been working on joint campaigns to encourage safe tourism to the archipelago.
This year’s campaign will be further reinforced, since a return to pre-pandemic numbers is forecast.
