Bales expands India programme
Bales has unveiled its biggest India programme yet, 45 years after it launched its first holidays to the sub-continent.
The emphasis of the 2008/2009 programme is on tailor-made, off-the-beaten-track and luxury options.
Sales and marketing director Iain Fenton said tailor-made travel now accounts for 40% of the operator’s business.
He said: “More clients wish to travel on individually designed itineraries and we have responded by detailing a wider selection of experiences and ideas.”
The brochure, called India and the Subcontinent, also has options in Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
It’s available online as well as in print form.
