Baltimore as meeting destination soon will compete with 85 percent of market
With several new hotels slated to open in the near future, Baltimore says it now can compete for up to 85 percent of all convention business.
“Baltimore currently boasts approximately 8,500 hotel rooms in the downtown area, most of which are within walking distance to the modern Baltimore Convention Center and all major downtown attractions,” says the CVB.
The Baltimore Convention Center houses Maryland’s largest ballroom with 50 meeting rooms.
