Be aware: Sterling
I want to caution and warn everybody for insurance scams. I paid a ticket on Sterling for my daughter on line by credit card. I clicked to pay extra for 2 insurances, both missed flight and change of flight. My daughter took ill in Barbados and missed the flight to London and the Sterling connection ex London. When I contacted Sterling, they refused blankly to assist, claimed that we had not cancelled the flight in advance. How do I call from Barbados during the weekend to cancel the flight? I had paid for the two insurances, and I really expected to be able to re book. So, be aware of this scam worth UKL15 on a single journey between LGW and Stockholm.
