Trade bedbank Lowcostbeds is offering a price guarantee throughout the January peak selling period.
Sister company Resorthoppa has introducing a service guarantee, which it claims is the first of its kind in the transfer market.
If a travel agent books any Lowcostbeds property in January and finds a cheaper like for like property with another company, the difference will be refunded.
The incentives came as Lowcostbeds reported sales up by 50% in the first four days of the month against the same period last January, with Resorthoppa up by 172%.
The Resorthoppa initiative includes a no surcharge guarantee, free cancelations, guaranteed on time pick-up, call answering within 60 seconds and same day email response. If the company fails to keep to any of the guarantees, agents will be fully refunded for the transfer booked.
This comes of the back of Resorthoppa opening a 24-hour operations and administration centre in Alicante. The transfer company now has more than 50 overseas staff responsible for the delivery of its services.
Group sales director Tim Buckman said: “The bed bank sector is very competitive, and so this is about telling our agents that they can book with us, safe in the knowledge that they can guarantee their customers are getting the best deal.
“Resorthoppa has great prices, we are well known for this, so we wanted raise awareness of our service commitment. Transfers provide a key link to so many people’s holidays, if your transfer provider fails to deliver, it effects the customers overall enjoyment of the holiday.
“We have invested heavily in our operational and administration infrastructure in order to stand up to their guarantees.”
