Beijing Capital Airlines launching London flights
Beijing Capital Airlines will launch direct flights to London from Qingdao next month.
The November 17 launch sees Airbus A330 aircraft fly the route twice a week.
The airline is touting a significant time saving on current options which involves transiting in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou or Hong Kong.
Nonstop Qingdao to London Heathrow flights will take 12 hours.
Qingdao is located at the southern end of China’s Shandong peninsula and is a major transport hub on the east coast.
It follows Beijing Capital Airlines’ announcement of new Sydney-Qingdao nonstop service which begin on October 30.
