Bentours launches 2007/08 Chilean Fjords & Antarctica brochure
Bentours has launched its 2007/08 brochure dedicated to its extensive Chilean Fjords & Antarctica cruise offerings. The new brochure also features for the first time a wide range of new and exciting add-on tours across South America, including Machu Picchu, Atacama Desert, Patagonia, Easter Island, Iguazu and the Andean Lakes.
For the 2007/08 season, Bentours offers a number of 12, 19 and 21 day cruises, departing either Buenos Aires or Santiago. Also available is a 27 day Antarctica, Iguazu and Andean Lakes tour.
New for 2007 is MS Fram, the latest addition to the Hurtigruten fleet, with MS Fram embarking on its maiden Antarctica cruise in November, having spent the European summer cruising around Greenland.
In Antarctica, MS Fram visits Deception Island and travels across the narrow iceberg-lined Lemaire Channel, considered one of the most beautiful passages in Antarctica, as well as several other breathtaking spots.
MS Fram’s 12 day cruise program starts at $4850pp, twin share and includes eight nights onboard MS Fram with all meals, three nights in Santiago, flights between Santiago and Ushuaia, and most sightseeing excursions
Bentours also offers two 19-day cruise programs onboard Hurtigruten’s MS Nordnorge. Four cruises depart Santiago, whilst another four depart Buenos Aires. Both cruise programs include the Chilean Fjords and Antarctica, as well as tours of both Buenos Aires and Santiago. Prices start from $7640pp, twin share and include 14 night onboard MS Nordnorge with all meals, two nights in Buenos Aires, two nights in Santiago, domestic flights and most sightseeing excursions.
The 27 day Antarctica, Iguazu and Andean Lakes tour includes a 14 night Antarctica cruise onboard MS Nordnorge, a guided tour to Iguazu Falls and Devil’s Throat, a full-day Andean Lakes crossing and sightseeing tours in both Buenos Aires and Santiago. Prices start at $14,390pp, twin share, including all accommodation and flights to/from Sydney, as well as six South American flights.
With Bentours’ new add-on tours, Australians can now combine an Antarctica cruise with another South American highlight. Options include a five day Atacama Desert tour, a seven day Machu Picchu Odyssey, Easter Island in three, four or five days, or five days exploring Patagonia.
