Beond announces Maldives flights from Munich and Zurich
New premium leisure airline Beond announced Munich and Zurich as the initial origin cities for the new airline, offering Maldives flights.
The inaugural Maldives flights are scheduled for November 15 departing Munich and from Zurich on November 17.
It will also offer flights from Riyadh.
Beond’s Chief Commercial Officer, Sascha Feuerherd said: “We are thrilled to announce Munich and Zurich as launch cities for Beond.
“Our team is hard at work preparing for service launch with a goal to exceed every expectation of our first customers.”
Beond will begin operations this autumn with Maldives as its first hub.
The service launch from Europe will begin with an Airbus A319 aircraft with 44 lay-flat seats and a premium on-board experience.
The airline recently received its Air Operator’s Certificate from the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority.
Beond says it is the world’s first premium leisure airline.
