Best Western in world’s largest thank you!
Best Western staff across the globe will embark this Monday on the “World’s Largest Thank You” to recognise and thank Best Western’s valued customers in the style that only the World’s Largest Hotel Chain can.
The hotel chain will attempt to visit more than 11,000 travel agents and key corporate clients across the world between 19-23 March, with head office and property staff in more than 30 countries taking part. This weeklong campaign provides Best Western with the unique opportunity to express its appreciation to travel agents and other important clients for their business, while highlighting the company’s brand initiatives and programs.
In Australia this event is being used to launch the new accommodation directory, “The timing is perfect for us as the new 2007-2008 Asia Pacific Accommodation directories are just hot off the press, so this gives us the opportunity to personally hand deliver these to our key customers and suppliers” commented Best Western Australia’s General Manager Sales & Marketing, Kimi Anderson.
“It is also a really fun event for staff as we try and get everyone involved, not just the sales and marketing team, in hitting the pavement and visiting agents in their local areas on their way to and from work.”
Agents and customers in Australia are also receiving complimentary mints as they are asked to take a fresh new look at Best Western, who has really raised the bar on the quality of hotel that is being offered under the brand over the past twelve months.
As Best Western hotel representatives and corporate employees fan out across five continents to make in-person visits to more than 100,000 travel agent partners, corporate clients, tour operators and other key accounts, David Kong, Best Western’s president and CEO commented “It’s important we remember to thank our valued partners for their ongoing support and business,” said. “In this fast-paced, electronic age, it’s critical to meet face-to-face with those who make our organisation successful.”
Added Dorothy Dowling, senior vice president of marketing and sales for Best Western, “The travel agent and corporate business communities continue to play integral roles in our sales efforts across the global marketplace. We feel it is our responsibility to recognise the significant contributions our partners make to the brand.”Best Western International is THE WORLD’S LARGEST HOTEL CHAIN®, providing marketing, reservations and operational support to 4,200* independently owned and operated member hotels in 80* countries and territories worldwide.
