Bird gets a free ride in Singapore Air business class
A stowaway aboard a Singapore Airlines long haul fight managed to give flustered flight attendants the bird.
A small mynah bird made an appearance 12 hours into a London-bound flight in the business class section.
Feather flew as crew members tried and failed to catch the small bird which is native to South Asia.
Video footage posted on Facebook show the bird nonchalantly perched on a seat headrest and flapping away as a flight attendant tried to catch it.
It was eventually caught with the help of passengers and handed in to quarantine officers in London.
"It was subsequently caught by cabin crew with the assistance of some of the passengers," a Singapore Airlines spokesman said.
