BITOA figures show visitors trickling back
The British Incoming Tour Operators Association (BITOA) has released figures for April 2002, which show that forward bookings in April 2002 are 2.36% up on April 2001.
BITOA said its latest figures are the best results since February 2001 and show a marked improvement in both performance and forward bookings.
However, the inbound tourist arrivals for April 2002 are still 24% less than in April 2000.
